A donation here is a thank-you, not a purchase, and the things that help most cost nothing at all.
The tip jar
Donations go through Ko-fi. There is no widget on this page and no Ko-fi script runs here — the link below is an ordinary hyperlink, and nothing of theirs loads until you follow it.
They buy nothing, and that is the design rather than an oversight. There is no tier, no perk, no member role, no private channel, no early access and no name in a credits file. Nothing about the software, the roadmap or the answer you get on an issue changes because you did or did not give.
The moment a donation buys something it stops being a gift and becomes a consumer supply contract, with a right of withdrawal and a real refund policy behind it. Keeping it a gift is what keeps this page three paragraphs long.

What it does not change
- The licence stays MIT, for everybody, with no sponsor-only build and no feature held back behind a tier.
- There is no telemetry to switch off and no account to make: archeus runs entirely on your machine, against the CLI you already have.
- There are no runtime dependencies to pay for. The cost of this project is time, not infrastructure.
Ways to help that cost nothing
Money is the least useful thing you can send. A project nobody can find is a project nobody uses, and a bug nobody reports is a bug that stays.
- Report what broke. A transcript, the version and what you expected beats a star.
- Say what is missing. The sharpest features here started as somebody describing a workflow that did not fit.
- Tell somebody. The name is one vowel from a Pokémon and shares a crates.io entry with an unrelated Rust tool, so a post that names what this one actually does is worth more than it sounds.
- Send a pull request. The setup is one clone and one command, and the test suite says what a change owes.
